What is Blepharitis?
As an inflammation of the eyelids, blepharitis comes in two forms: anterior and posterior, depending on which part of the lid is most affected. Anterior blepharitis is usually caused by bacteria or dandruff. Posterior blepharitis is caused by problems with the lids’ meibomian oil glands.
